Should You Enable Guest Blogging on Your Blog

This is a million dollar question. But really do you have any answer? I think no since there are so many advantage as well as disadvantage of enabling guest blogging on your blog.
You know that blogging means not only writing, instead there are so many facts/myths behind blogging. People start blogging on their favorite subject to update their friends, office stuffs or any other people.
There should have more than 2/3 billions blogs and 50% of them accept guest blogging. You may say, the percentage is very low. Yes, but after a few seconds, your thought will be changed.
There may have 2 billion blogs but half of them are useless. Means, some people created a blog but haven’t done anything with that. Only the blog name is blocked but actually, the blog is blank. So, now there are 1 billion blog.

In those 1 billion blogs, half of them are not so user friendly. So, they are on the way to stop their blog. Means, now there are 1 million blog.
Now count the number of blogs where you can submit guest posts. It is only 5 lakh.  But most of them have no PR. That’s why people don’t want to submit guest posts to there.
Anyway, there should have tons of reasons why bloggers should enable or disable guest posts but today I am going to tell you the advantages of enabling guest posts on your blog.

Advantage of enabling guest post on your blog:

Community:

You are doing blog for money and for money, you need high quality content and readership with great relationship. If you have enabled guest blogging on your blog, there is a chance to build a great relationship with other blogger friends.

Content:

Guest blogging is all about writing a great content to submit. For money, you need great posts on high CPC keywords and you will get some free content (may be written on high CPC keyword) for your blog from guest authors.

Get Traffic:

If you have published a guest post on your blog, I am sure that the particular guest author will share his/her post from his/her end on different social networking websites i.e. Facebook, Twitter etc. In this way, you will able to get more traffic for your blog.
These are the core advantages of enabling guest blogging on your blog when there are also some disadvantages.
Few days back, one of my friends lost his AdSense account due to Copyright Material which was posted by a guest author. I know that the problem is from my friend’s side. So, be aware when you are going to publish a guest post. Try to check that post manually using different search engines like Google, Bing etc. whether that was published before on anywhere else or not.
If you want to make money from your blog, don’t accept guest posts which are written on low CPC keywords.
Don’t give the Author profile to your guest bloggers. Instead of that, you should give Contributor profile. I am talking about WordPress (self-hosted).
Other fellow bloggers submit guest posts for getting high PR backlink. If you have a great PR and don’t want to lose link juice, there is no need to enable guest posts.

What do you think about guest blogging? Did you ever submit a guest post on any blog? Do share your opinion with us.
